The Prysmian cables facility in the Johnstown Industrial Park is awaiting funding for a $5.5 million dollar expansion. They have an application in to the Eastern Ontario Development Fund for five to fifteen percent of the total project.
Plans are to add about fifteen jobs to an existing workforce of 200. The expansion would bring additional equipment to the facility.
