A 72-year-old Rockport man is facing charges of sex assault dating back over twenty-five years. Leeds County OPP launched an investigation after receiving information in late 2015. They served a warrant at the accused man’s house on Tuesday in relation to multiple victims of assault from the late 1960s to 1990.
The accused is charged with three counts of gross indecency, three counts of indecent assault on a male, sexual exploitation and sexual assault. He was released on a promise to appear with conditions and will appear in Brockville court in June.
