Police in Leeds County have arrested a man for driving while impaired. Around 8:00am on April 7th, a patrol officer observed a collision on the 401. Investigation showed the driver was impaired. He was taken to the Brockville General by ambulance.
The York, Ontario man was released with no injuries, and taken for testing by an OPP drug recognition expert. He was charged with being impaired by drugs, failing to have insurance and providing false insurance. He will be back in Brockville next month to appear in court.
