Brockville Hospital puts out call for community cheerleaders

The Brockville General Hospital (BGH) is asking the community for help.

The past few weeks have been increasingly challenging for staff and physicians at the hospital, according to a press release sent out this morning. It notes that their professionalism has been unwavering, but they can’t do it alone. 

The BGH says it needs the community to be its cheerleaders. 

People are encouraged to share their words of support and encouragement in a short video recording that will be shared on the BGH’s website and social media channels.

The Brockville and District Hospital Foundation is also supporting staff and physicians through a COVID-19 Emergency Fund. Donations will be matched by the foundation and put towards urgent priorities to help patients, staff and physicians directly affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
