Three relatives jailed after domestic dispute

Three members of a North Dundas family have been arrested after a domestic dispute. Around 10:40 Tuesday morning, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP were called to a home on Baker Road in North Dundas. Investigation showed a woman went into the house uninvited and assaulted her spouse who was there visiting family. The victim received minor injuries. The 34-year-old woman is facing charges of break and enter and assault with a weapon, as she hit him with a chair.

Later on Tuesday, police were called back to the same residence when an argument broke out between two men. When police arrived, one man became aggressive. A 33-year-old man is facing charges related to the assault of the other man, assault of a peace officer, damage caused within the home and urinating on the cell floor at the detachment. The 48-year-old man is charged with mischief and failure to comply with probation and undertaking. All three were held in custody pending a bail appearance.
