Leeds Grenville to receive $525,000 to promote healthy living

The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has committed up to $525,000 over the next three years for health and wellness activities in Leeds Grenville. Community and Social Services Director Alison Tutak says former Mayor of Merrickville-Wolford, Doug Struthers, and Dr. Paula Stewart, Medical Officer of Health, will be Community Champions on this project.
The Healthy Kids Community Challenge will feature programs and projects that promote healthy, active living.
