The Lanark, Leeds Grenville District Health Unit is promoting a new program for children and youth during Oral Health Month.
The Health Unit says it’s very important to start seeing a dentist when your child is 12 months old and to keep going regularly. Healthy Smiles Ontario pays for regular check-ups, preventive care and treatment. Children and youth under the age of 17 are eligible for Healthy Smiles Ontario if they are residents of Ontario and their household meets the income eligibility requirements.
