A/1 Taxi (formally J&T Taxi) in Prescott is offering discounted rates for delivery in town because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Owner Troy Thompson says they will be offering discounted delivery rates so people can save some money and not put their family or anyone at risk of catching something while they’re out.
Restaurant foods are four dollars if you want food delivered. Alcohol used to be eight dollars and they’re lowering the delivery rate by two dollars. The price to bring someone to and from is eight dollars which normally would be 12 dollars. Thompson adds they would like to deliver so people can stay home.
A/1 Taxi is also still offering free rides to and from the South Grenville Food Bank.
Thompson says drivers have gloves and sanitizer in their vehicles and are wiping down the doors and seatbelts after every person that comes in.
