The province’s Health Minister says there will be more hospital beds and ventilators created in Ontario.
Christine Elliott says hospital bed capacity will be increased in locations where they are needed and that people who are recovering in hospital may be moved to other safe locations to free up hospital beds.
Elliott says three hundred ventilators have been added to hospitals and Premier Doug Ford says he has been speaking with auto parts manufacturers to see if it is possible to begin to build them here in the province.
