Premier Doug Ford says Ontarians need to do their part to help each other

Premier Doug Ford says Ontarians need to do their part to help each other through the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his daily address, he announced the province is automatically extending driver’s licences, licence plate tags and health cards that are expired or close to expiring.

Ford says it is just one more thing for people to worry about and is unnecessary at this time.  Ford also says he has talked to major retailers across the province and the supply chain is working and can handle the demand but they need to be able to accept deliveries at any time.

Municipal by-laws will be suspended that will allow trucks to deliver 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  He urged Ontarians not to hoard and not to panic buy.

MPP’s will be in the legislature today in order to pass legislation to enforce the province’s state of emergency.
