Hockey legends are coming to Brockville this weekend. The annual Winter Classic kicks off on Friday.

The Local Heroes Hockey Tournament is set for Saturday at Rotary Park. It runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Committee member Ryan Billing says admission is free for the outdoor games. The Heroes of Motown Alumni Game, featuring former Detroit Red Wings players, follows on Sunday afternoon at the Brockville Memorial Centre.  He noted it’s a fabulous line-up this year, including Hockey Hall of Famer Chris Chelios.
