Snowfall warning issued

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Prescott area.

They say 15 to 20 centimetres of snowfall is expected. The snow may become heavy at times tonight and continue into tomorrow before tapering off tomorrow night. Environment Canada says total snowfall amounts of 20 to 25 centimetres is possible by tomorrow night.

This morning and afternoon commutes are likely to be impacted, and possibly tomorrow morning’s commute as well, according to Environment Canada. They add rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult and visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
