The OPP is investigating a break and enter that turned violent.
Officers were called out to a residence on County Road 46 in Elizabethtown Township yesterday around 6:20am. Police say unknown suspects gained entry to the residence and assaulted the homeowner, before fleeing in a vehicle.
A 62-year-old was transported to the Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries. It’s possible the suspects also sustained injuries, according to police.
