A second Tim Hortons is now open in Prescott. The fast food restaurant, located at 110 Centre Drive just off the 401, opened on New Year’s Eve.
Shawn Lockett, owner of both Tim Hortons in town, says business is going well at the new location. He noted as people are finding out about it, they are coming to check it out.
Lockett explained the original Tim Hortons on Edward Street was getting so busy it was difficult to keep up with quality customer service. He says the new restaurant has created between 20 and 25 new jobs for Prescott, ranging from full to part-time.
Lockett noted he’s always looking for people and plans on opening another restaurant in Iroquois.
