King’s Kitchen serving free meal on Christmas Day

King’s Kitchen is holding its annual Christmas meal this Wednesday.

The free meal is being served at South Grenville District High School in Prescott. Chair Carol Casselman says they will be serving turkey and all of the trimmings with the idea that no one is alone on Christmas.

Casselman says this is the sixth year and it’ll be full of fellowship and fun. People can arrive any time after 12pm and the meal will be served sharply at one.

She says people can volunteer the day of. Last year, around 150 people were served and they will have food prepared for 200 people or more this year.

Casselman thanks the volunteers that help each week as well as Kriska, O’Reilly’s Your Independent Grocer, Your Family Dollar and Tim Hortons for helping with the Christmas Day meal.
