MPP Steve Clark was in town on Friday to announce funding for seniors’ programs.
Walker House is getting $52,727 for its ongoing operations and activities. Clark also announced $23,251 for Brockville Senior Citizens Inc. No. 85.  Â
Clark says he can’t say enough about the tremendous work these organizations are doing to support seniors in Brockville and Prescott. He noted the funding will help ensure seniors in these communities can remain socially connected, reducing the isolation that can put them at risk.
Clark explained Seniors Active Living Centres provide a hub for seniors and their families – a place where they can build positive connections to assist them in leading happy, healthy and active lives.
