High School teachers and support workers won’t be in class today. The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation is going ahead with a one-day strike to put pressure on the province.

The Upper Canada District School Board says classes for students in kindergarten to grade eight will proceed as normal, even if they’re in grade 7 and 8 at a secondary school.

Classes for students in grades nine to 12 are cancelled.

The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario is not impacted by the strike.
