Connect Youth got a helping hand from a local group. The Johnstown ATV Club donated $580 to the organization last week. The funds came from the club’s annual charity fundraiser run, held on October 20. A total of 76 people took part in the event, which brought in $1,410.
The South Edwardsburg Public School and the 2019 Ben Hutton Shootout for Alzheimer’s also received funds from the club.
Connect Youth Program Manager Victoria Robertson says donations from the community make a big difference. She noted the Johnstown ATV Club is a great local partner.
Robertson explained the dollars will go towards Connect Youth’s hot lunch program, which serves over 30 youth every Tuesday and Thursday.
Connect Youth operates out of South Grenville District High School and provides free programming for youth. The organization also runs three temporary shelters for homeless youth.
