Erratic driving leads to seizure of $40,000 worth of drugs

The Brockville Police Service found more than it bargained for during a traffic stop on Monday. Officers engaged with a white Dodge pick-up due to its driving habits in the south end of town.

Police say two men fled from the vehicle into the Rexall, where they were immediately arrested. One of the men was on bail conditions with a curfew and the other was on probation with numerous conditions.

The officers seized a large quantity of drugs, including Fentanyl, Crystal Meth, Cocaine, Hydromorphone and Marijuana. The street value is estimated at $40,000.

Police say the vehicle also contained weapons and ammunition. The 54-year-old and 41-year-old were charged with weapons offences, breaches of court orders, possession of stolen property and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
