Biker investigation leads to arrest in Brockville

A 38-year-old man is facing charges after search warrants were executed at a residence and business in Brockville.

The OPP, Biker Enforcement Unit, Belleville Police Service and Emergency Response Team took part in the search on Tuesday.

The man was arrested and charged with commission of offence for criminal organization, robbery with violence, break and enter, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and careless storage of a firearm.

The Brockville Police Service says it’s part of an ongoing police investigation, called Project Charlie, into organized crime and the local drug trade.

Some of the items seized include motorcycle club vests, long guns, ammunition and a panel to a bullet proof vest (pictured).
