Leeds Grenville MP Gord Brown says today’s budget announcement leaves huge unanswered questions about how the government plans to finance all their new programs and promises.
Brown says it appears that the Liberal government is prepared to borrow $30 billion this year and $113 billion over the next five years.
Brown says the former Conservative government had committed to reducing the small business tax rate down to nine percent and now that has been deferred. He says the higher tax for small businesses will be bad news for our local economy.
