A 70-year-old Augusta Township man is facing charges after driving drunk. Around 9:40pm last Friday, police watched a southbound vehicle on County Road 15 travelling more than 40 kilometres over the speed limit. They caught up with the vehicle on the 6th Concession.
While speaking with the driver, officers noticed booze on his breath. He failed a roadside test and was arrested. The accused will appear in Brockville court at a later date.
