The Fort Town Night Run has announced a new running event through their Facebook Page.
The Zombie Fun Run is happening on October 19th and is a fundraiser for the South Grenville Food Bank. It will begin at the clock tower in Prescott, on the corner of King Street and Centre Street.
There will be a five kilometer and 2.5 kilometer run beginning at six that evening. Registration begins at five and you can sign up at the Fort Town Night Run tent. Registration cost is a donation to the food bank.
Organizers say costumes are encouraged and there will be a prize for best costume. They also say this is an opportunity for high school students to receive volunteer hours. For more information visit the Fort Town Night Run Facebook page here.
