The South Grenville Food Bank has more help after a lack of volunteers recently.
In July the local organization put out a call for extra help. Executive Director Bonnie Pidgeon Cougler says they are now up close to 70 volunteers again. She says the volunteers do various jobs, not always in the food banks. Other jobs include working in the warehouse, getting food and driving to the landfill to get bottles for programs.
Pidgeon Cougler says there’s always a need for volunteers. She added heading into Christmas there’s always something to do in the warehouse.
