Window smashed at Cardinal Library, liquor lifted from LCBO

Grenville County OPP had a busy weekend. Officers got a call from the Cardinal Public Library on Saturday. A rear window was smashed by a thrown object, according to police.

The incident occurred when the library was closed, sometime between Thursday and Saturday. The OPP says there are no suspects at this time.

Officers are also looking for a man who stole numerous bottles of alcohol from the LCBO in Prescott. The incident happened yesterday around 4:00pm. The suspect put the bottles into an orange and black reusable grocery bag and ran from the store, towards George and King Street.

The man is described as between 25 and 30-years-old, with a scar on the left side of his face and approximately six feet tall. He was wearing grey sweatpants and a light grey sweater.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact the OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122.
