You can enjoy some spaghetti and help support a local food bank at the same time.
The Food Bank Spaghetti Dinner will be happening on Wednesday night from five to seven at the Prescott Fire Hall. South Grenville Food Bank Executive Director Bonnie Pidgeon Cougler says it costs $10 and there is vegan, gluten free and take out options.
All of the proceeds will be going to the food bank and Pidgeon Cougler says this entire event was worked on by the volunteers at the food bank.
“I want to put a big shout out to all my volunteers in South Grenville, in Cardinal, in Prescott and Spencerville because they are the ones that came together, created the idea and is going to be implementing it and they’ve been working really hard on it. So I want to thank my volunteers.”
Tickets are available at the door or at the food bank before Wednesday. The food bank is located at 136 Henry Street West and the Fire Hall is located beside the food bank at 302 Centre Street.
