No strike, schools will be open tomorrow

The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) has reached a tentative agreement with the Ontario Government.

The two parties have been negotiating throughout the weekend.

The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) and Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO) stated schools would be closed in the event of a strike.

CUPE represents school support staff, including educational assistants, early childhood educators and clerical staff.
