Cookies will give you an extra reason to smile starting Monday.
The Smile Cookie campaign is back at Tim Hortons in Prescott and will be there through to Sunday. The week long campaign will see 100-percent of proceeds from every cookie sold going to the South Grenville Food Bank once again.
Owner Shawn Lockett says the cookies will be one dollar each and this year he is looking to raise more than last year’s amount of $7,000.
“So $7,000, that’s pretty amazing right. That helps a lot of people in our community. I’m really excited about that. This year I just want to beat it.”
Lockett says this year pre-orders are available by calling Tim Hortons at 613-925-1465 or by picking up a form.
