Prescott Zombie Walk looking for volunteers

You can release your inner zombie and help out a local event.

The Prescott Zombie Walk will be taking place on October 19th this year and organizers are looking for volunteers.

One of the organizers, Martina Libby, says the walk allows kids to face their fears in a fun way. Libby says they are looking for people to act as marshals for the walk and people to help with face painting.

Libby says this is the third year and it will run from one to six that day filled with many activities including: zombie yoga for kids, trick or treating at local businesses downtown and a spooktacular talent show. The talent show will be taking place at the clock tower.

The walk will begin around four and will include “LeMar Lux Boo-tiques,” the “Colonels Coff-Inn.” Attendees are encouraged to continue to “Town Hall Terror” after the walk.

Walkers can make a donation to the South Grenville Food Bank and there will be a barbecue during the event put on by the food bank.

Libby says anyone can volunteer and can contact [email protected] for more information.

Libby says they are still planning and more details will be released.
