The next step for a community splash pad in Prescott is proceeding well according to the town’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
Matthew Armstrong, Town of Prescott CAO and Treasurer, says they are set to receive final proposals for the apparatuses next week.
Back in June the project was discussed with the Splash Pad Community Group suggesting a nature theme as their first choice for apparatuses as it was more broad-based. The money from the Trillium Grant, which is $150,000, will be used to purchase the apparatuses.
Armstrong says the town is aiming for a September groundbreaking with completion by the end of October.
