On Sunday just after 3:30 in the afternoon, OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program at the intersection of County Rd. 44 and Crowder Rd. in Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township. While speaking with a driver, police saw commonly used drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Following a short investigation police seized cocaine and marijuana. The driver, a 23 year old man from Augusta Township has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and is to appear in Brockville Court at a later date.
