Beach party brings in $5,000 for new Prescott arena

The Row’s Beach Party brought in thousands for a new arena in Prescott.

The party was held Saturday night and raised $6,926. Row member Justin Kirkby says a $5,000 donation will be going to the Town of Prescott with the rest of the money going towards future events.

Kirkby says 275 people attended the event and it was a successful night.

“Healy and Orr were great, you know spot on they helped us out with a lot of things and just great to deal with. And then all the people dancing on the sand dance floor. That was great to see and some beach volleyball being played with the beach balls.”

This brings The Row’s total to $16,500 raised for the new arena. As for future fundraisers, Kirkby says they are definitely going to book the golf course for the next New Year’s Eve event.

Kirkby thanks all those who attended and were involved with the event.
