The OPP is investigating two vehicle thefts and a distraction theft. All three incidents happened in North Grenville.
Two 2018 Ford Raptor F150 pickup trucks (silver) were reported stolen from different residences around 3:00am today. The OPP says the keys were inside the houses at the time and both vehicles are push to start. The investigation is ongoing.
On Tuesday, around 11:30am, a woman was paying for her groceries at a local store when she observed an approximately 50-year-old male with a dark complexion and a female, likely in her 30’s, purchasing a chocolate bar.
The OPP says when the victim was paying, one of the culprits crowded her. After exiting the store, two men approached her and one distracted her while the other took her wallet, according to police.
The OPP says the men were then observed leaving the nearby bank and money was taken from the victim’s account. The suspects left in a 2010 navy blue sport utility vehicle.
