Kittens dumped in ditch now available for adoption

The kittens found stuffed in a box and dumped in a culvert are looking for their forever homes. Two of the five kittens, now 7-weeks-old, have been adopted. The animals were rescued by a Grenville County OPP officer and brought to Big Sky Ranch Animal Sanctuary two weeks ago.

Founder Andy Parent says the kittens were skittish when they first arrived. He noted they’ve come a long way and it’s amazing what a difference love and care can make.

Jezebel (gray and white), Willy (gray) and Rocky (black) are available for adoption. The fee is $100 to cover veterinary costs.

Parent says they all have unique personalities. He explained Jezebel is very cuddly and likes to be held. Her brother, Rocky, is a wild card who likes to get into mischief, according to Parent. Willy is more laid back and prefers to take everything in.

Parent says the Sponsor-An-Animal program is also available for people who want to help out, but can’t adopt.
