Major drug bust in Kemptville, Oxford Mills

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Drug Unit, OPP Biker Enforcement Unit and Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants in North Grenville yesterday. 

The first warrant was at a business in the 2800 block of County Road 43 in Kemptville and the second warrant was at a residence on McGovern Road in Oxford Mills. 

Drugs seized are believed to be Oxycodone, cannabis concentrate, THC vape pens and CBD oil, according to the OPS. Other items seized included a digital scale, mechanical press, Canadian and U.S. currency and Hells Angels paraphernalia. 

Two Oxford Mills residents are facing charges. Adam Drummond, age 36, and Shannon Harper-Drummond, age 31, are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession for the purpose of distributing and possession of proceeds under $5,000. Drummond faces five further counts of breach of recognizance. 

Both will appear in Ottawa court today. Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPS by calling 613-236-1222 ext. 7300.
