The South Grenville Food For All Food Bank is putting out a call for more help.
Executive Director Bonnie Pidgeon Cougler says they are looking for a few different types of volunteers. The first being adults who can dedicate time working in the warehouse in Prescott. People with a truck or van who can help with the recycling program and driving to a landfill are needed. She also says there are still volunteer opportunities for students too.
Pidgeon Cougler says the shortage of volunteers is mainly because of summer and the Prescott location seems to be the location with the lack of volunteers. The other two food banks are located in Spencerville and Cardinal.
Pidgeon Cougler thanks the volunteers currently working at the food banks and warehouse and says the organization is very lucky and very grateful for those who help out.
