South Grenville District High School will be holding a free social networking and online safety presentation.
The school will have guest speaker Paul Davis speaking to students and the community about social media and internet safety. The presentation will be held on Monday, May 27th.
Principal Robert Currier says it’s really important for the students to understand that everything they put on social media is there for the rest of their lives. Currier says everyone should be aware about who they accept as friends on their social media, who they talk to and what information they share. Currier says he wants to make sure that everyone is aware of the dangers that are out there and the precautionary measures they can take to help keep them safe.
The students will see Davis’ presentation during the morning and afternoon, depending on what grade they are in. The public can attend the presentation at 6:30 that evening.
