Raegan Wallace said goodbye to her locks. The eight-year-old shaved her head Friday to raise money for CHEO and a new play structure at Centennial ‘67 Public School. The Hair for Care fundraiser brought in $2,053 – quadrupling Wallace’s goal of $500.
She started collecting donations in April. Wallace says the reason she started the fundraiser is to support everyone with cancer and improve the schoolyard.
Principal Leann Bruley says Raegan has amazing character. She says fellow students and staff are proud of her perseverance, courage and kindness.
