Easter Egg Hunt to benefit Connect Youth, Prescott Youth Centre

Connect Youth (CY) and the Prescott Youth Centre (PYC) have partnered on a fundraising event. The two organizations are hosting a community breakfast and Easter egg hunt in Spencerville on Saturday.

CY Program Manager Victoria Robertson says the event is being held at the Spencerville United Church. She says doors open at 10:00am and breakfast will be served around 10:30am. The cost is $5 per person or maximum $20 per family.

Proceeds from the breakfast will be split down the middle for CY and PYC. The egg hunt kicks off around 11:00am. JoeComputer donated hundreds of eggs for the event.

Robertson says the eggs will be hidden around the church, town hall and JoeComputer.

There is no cost to participate in the egg hunt. Kids are encouraged to bring their own baskets.
