Raegan Wallace is raising money for cancer research and a new play structure at Centennial ‘67 Public School. The eight-year-old will be shaving her head on May 3 in support of the two causes. She hopes to collect $500 in donations, which will be split down the middle.
Shannon Emmerson-Wallace, Raegan’s mom, says when asked why she wanted to do this, Raegan said she just wants to be a good person.
Donations can be dropped off at the school, located at 7 Henderson Street in Spencerville. E-transfers are also being accepted, through the Centennial ‘67 Parent Council, by emailing [email protected].
Emmerson-Wallace says Raegan has already raised $90. She says Raegan has never done anything like this before and it’s an amazing idea.
