Two Edwardsburgh residents are facing charges after a search warrant was executed on County Road 44. Members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Community Street Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team and Tactics & Rescue Unit took part in the raid last week.
A 33-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were arrested in possession of a significant quantity of stolen property from across Eastern Ontario. Officers also found a controlled substance, suspected to be heroin, on site.
They were charged with possession of stolen property, theft under $5,000, failing to comply with recognizance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Both were taken to the Prescott OPP detachment and later released on a Promise to Appear. A court date is set for May 10 in Brockville.
