OPP officers were called out to a domestic situation in Augusta Township.
The incident happened Sunday night. Police say a 41-year-old man from Yarmouth assaulted his wife and then became combative with officers.
He is charged with assaulting a peace officer, two counts of spousal assault and failing to comply with conditions of bail. Â
Officers received minor injuries.
