A local event is raising money for a local school this weekend.
A ‘Mom 2 Mom’ sale will be happening at St. Lawrence Academy (SLA) in Prescott on Saturday. There is no admission fee and all proceeds from the sale will be going towards a new playground structure at SLA.
One of the organizers Kim Durant says around 30 tables will be set up with vendors including SweetLegs, Tupperware, a coffee shop, party 31 and Scentsy. There will be a variety of boys and girls clothing for sale for infants all the way to teenagers, according to Durant.
Durant says the senior class will also be selling popcorn for their final trip.
The sale will run from nine to noon on Saturday. SLA is located at 560 Edward Street.
