A 51-year-old man is facing charges of assault with a weapon and theft under $5,000 following an incident at Canadian Tire in Brockville.
Police officers were called out to the store yesterday afternoon.
The man removed a box cutter from its packaging and tried to leave the store, according to the manager.
Police say the man was confronted by the manager and the suspect threw the box cutter at him before fleeing the store. He was identified by camera footage.
