Grenville County OPP officers responded to a report of an aluminum boat floating eastbound on the St. Lawrence River.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre sent out aerial units to locate the boat yesterday. It was found around midnight, just west of Marine Station Road. Police say the boat was empty and there were no confirmed sightings of anyone in the boat.
The boat is currently located on the river side of the Canal and isn’t accessible by land. The boat has red detailing and a black motor.
