February is Heart and Stroke month, and planning is well underway for the Heart and Sol Planning Committee in organizing their Eighth Annual Heart and Sol Evening. This Brockville and District Hospital Foundation’s independent partnership event will take place on June 16, 2016 at Poole Island on the St. Lawrence River.
The event is a major fundraiser for the Brockville Cardiovascular Program, which provides rehabilitation services for people in Leeds and Grenville recovering from procedures such as cardiac surgery. Since 2009, the event has raised over $178,000 for the program.
