BIA seeking nominations for board

The Downtown Prescott Business Improvement Area (BIA) is seeking nominations for its Board of Management. Positions are open to any commercial property or business owner downtown.

BIA is accepting self nominations, giving out forms to eligible business owners to fill out and submit to Town Hall. The deadline for submissions is March 14 at 4:00pm.

Economic Development Officer Dana Valentyne says that the Directors will be selected at the annual general meeting. The meeting is expected to take place by the end of March.

Eligible candidates should have received a letter, along with the self nomination form to be filled out. Anyone who believes they qualify, but haven’t received the form is encouraged to contact Town Hall. And if you are unsure of your eligibility, you can contact Town Hall as well to see if you qualify.
