Once again, the Brockville General Volunteer Association has made a large donation to the Brockville Cardiovascular Program at Brockville General Hospital. This new cheque for $20,000 brings the total donated to $140,000 since the program started nearly seven years ago.
The program is a local rehabilitation service for people recovering from cardiac surgery. It is a free service funded entirely by the local community. About 125 patients go through the Brockville Cardiovascular Program every year.
