The Town of Prescott has appointed Jessica Crawford as Deputy Treasurer.
Crawford was appointed during last night’s Council meeting. Prescott’s CAO/Treasurer Matthew Armstrong says when he accepted the role of CAO/Treasurer they said they would be mentoring Crawford for this position. He adds he’s very happy with how the mentoring is going and he’s been able to devolve himself of several items, which he says is critical in the role of CAO and Treasurer.
Councillor Ray Young adds this is not a new hire. Crawford has already been working with the town for around four to five years.
Mayor Brett Todd says Crawford has proved to be a good hire now that she has worked her way up to senior staff and sends congratulations.
