OPP officers responded to an armed robbery at a convenience store in Iroquois. The incident happened last night. Police say two men entered the store with a weapon and demanded cash. The suspects fled the scene with money and tobacco products.
No injuries were reported. The suspects were later found and arrested.
A 34-year-old Cardinal man was charged with two counts of robbery with a weapon, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
A 28-year-old Augusta Township man faces the same charges. Both were held in custody and will appear in Cornwall Court. Â
